The TIMBERCARD is the world’s first card body made from 100% pure wooden layers that can be processed into a conventional banking card.
The card body, with its 5-layered wood and paper structure, is fully biodegradable. When exposed to the soil, it decomposes much quicker than conventional plastic cards.
TIMBERCARD has been certified with the flustix LESS PLASTICS | PRODUCT seal at the highest certification grade: MIN. 99.25% PLASTIC-FREE. Laboratory testing detected 0.00% plastic in the card body, confirming that it is 100% plastic-free according to the Single-Use Plastics Directive (Directive (EU) 2019/904).
