Copecto GmbH, established by May 31, 2023, and based in Wiesbaden, Germany, is a 100% subsidiary of DG Nexolution eG. In close partnership with Swiss Wood Solutions AG, Copecto is holding their exclusive and worldwide license for distribution and production for the TIMBERCARD®. A first sub-licence for the industrialized production of the wood card bodies has been issued by Copecto to the Raiffeisendruckerei GmbH.
Our primary business focus is on sustainable card bodies made from real wood – the TIMBERCARD®.
In September 2022, we successfully launched the first series of 1.000 EMV-certified TIMBERCARD®s. This initial release served as evidence to our commitment and capability of providing eco-friendly card solutions to the banking system.
Throughout 2023, we conducted a series of smaller pilots in collaboration with several banks. These pilots aimed to showcase the feasibility and advantages of our TIMBERCARD® in real-world scenarios.
Starting from 2024, we scale up production, enabling significant quantities of our TIMBERCARD®s to be ordered. This expansion allows us to meet the increasing demand for sustainable and innovative card options in the market.
